Our York Road site will be closed during the summer holidays due to refurbishment works in our Reception, Dining Hall, first floor and garden. The plans and designs are really exciting and we can’t wait!
Contractors will be on site from the 9th July but the Nursery will not be affected, although parents, carers and visitors will be ‘re-routed’ to avoid accessing the reception area. Please bear with us during these last few weeks of term. We will be up and running as usual from the start of next term.
Please note: we will not be running any events at York Road in the holidays, but will still have our timetable at Hazel Avenue during the summer period. The last Children’s Centre event at York Road until September will be the Well Baby Clinic on Fri 29th June.
If you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to get in touch by calling reception 01483 566589.
Stoke Community Fun Day on Saturday 7th July, see below for more details.

May half term.
29th May – 1st June
Fun for 2-8 year olds
We had a great sports day with an amazing amount of families coming to join us. We played egg and spoon races, walking with a balloon between our knees, rolling a hoop down the hill, parachute games, bean bags onto a target, and riding bikes around a course.
Thank you to everyone who participated and of course donated money for a very good cause.
5th – 16th March: Eggs and then the chicks are coming to the nursery! Do pop in at the end of your child’s sessions if you would like to see them.
Our nursery school children and staff have been busy in the gardens at York Road and Hazel Avenue, putting together their ‘seaside’ themed displays for Guildford In Bloom 2017. Their hard work was rewarded with a Silver Gilt medal!
The children planted and cared for a range of flowers and vegetables. We also made bunting, parasols, ice creams, windmills and a Punch and Judy show. Our Hazel Avenue children also enjoyed strawberries and mange tout from their own plants!
