We have been looking at all the changes happening in the garden. The children collected leaves, sticks, apples, feathers… We used them to create a picture. There was lots of talk about size, colour and pattern.
We found this little chap in the garden at Hazel Avenue. He was hiding under a log but jumped out to see us. The children were fascinated to see how quickly he moved. Some of the children were able to hold him although he didn’t stay still for very long! We carefully placed him back under the log afterwards.
The children have been collecting apples in the Hazel Avenue garden. They sorted them and washed them. We are selling them for 10p each. The money will buy more things for us to grow. They are delicious!
