Thank you for being such a wonderful teacher to both of our boys over the past 2.5 years at nursery. You have endless amounts of patience. Enthusiasm and energy for the children. You are such a natural teacher and I’ve always appreciated your warmth and friendliness when handing over the boys at the gate. Thank you for caring for both boys at their different ages. We are so sad that they have to leave Guildford Nursery School – it is such a fantastic setting and it’s really gutting that moving to Devon means we have to leave.

The babies have a great amount of space in their room to move around and play. I also like that they have their own garden space with their own outdoor equipment. All practitioners are warm and inviting when the children start their nursery day. They all enter feeling very welcomed. The environment is set up to engage all learning and adults must have spent time modelling resources, as the children seem confident and happy to explore their surroundings.

There is such a lovely variety of toys, and it feels like a nice size for the little ones. The room with the cots is fantastic and looks like a cosy place for them to sleep.

The environment is lovely. The whole room is fully equipped with essential facilities for the sake of younger children’s development. Children have their own name tag and peg and pictures. Various types of toys and books. Teachers are so helpful and lovely.

We like that we are not made to feel different. As parents already go through a lot of emotional strain, Willow Room always gave the right amount of support needed for the child and makes parents feel no different. Willow Room gives a feeling of safety and being well looked after.

The staff regardless whether it is my child’s key person or not are always willing to help and work with my child during school drop off as he finds it difficult to say goodbye to me. They are all kind and truly care about the well being of all the children. The room is filled with many educational activities and the teachers are always interacting.

I think the space the children have to explore & play is brilliant. I like the variety of the resources and toys they have access to. I also like that the the key groups all have their own areas and identity within the larger room, which provides a sense of comfort & safety for my daughter. Our nursery school is the perfect place for young children to learn and grow.

With spacious indoor rooms, wonderful outdoor spaces and the freedom for children to play and learn at their own pace, this is a safe, welcoming and supportive environment.

FAMILY CENTRE

Our family centre sits within Families First Guildford and provides 1:1 targeted support for families. It also provides and coordinates some support for families with emerging needs.

The family centre team work across the borough of Guildford, helping families with children up to age 18 (or 25 for those young people with additional needs).
