On behalf of the Governing Body, welcome to Guildford Nursery School and Family Centre!

We are naturally biased, but fully believe that our nursery school and family centre is a unique and wonderful place for children, parents and families within the local community.

Located across two sites in Guildford, our nursery school offers excellent learning opportunities and developmental experiences for children and their families, with the added bonus of exceptional facilities and wonderful outdoor spaces at both our Hazel Avenue and York Road sites. Both my boys were part of Guildford Nursery School in their early years, and whether they were exploring the gardens and outdoor space, creating elaborate block structures, enjoying story and song time, or engrossed in woodwork or art activities, they were experiencing a learning environment crafted for the needs of each child, and informed by the best educational practice.

Families First Guildford, (our family centre) provides 1:1 targeted support for families across the local area, in response to their emerging needs. From sensory play to parenting skills, from community gardening to helping your child talk, the Families First Guildford team are here to help.
